Exemplary health management at the award winner in the electrical engineering sector

Outstanding commitment to promoting and maintaining the health of all employees is recognised with the Corporate Health Award, Germany's most prestigious prize for corporate health management. The award for the electrical engineering - SME sector goes to Salvia Gebäudetechnik in 2021.

The prize for forward-looking and sustainable human resources management has been awarded since 2009. "To bring buildings to life, we need healthy employees," emphasises Laura Mollo, Head of Health Management at Salvia Building Technologies. "We are therefore all the more pleased that our corporate health management has been rewarded with 1st place in the Corporate Health Award." As the person responsible for health management, she pushes the topic of "healthy working" in the company. The 3-storey building shines with a translucent, open construction with a lot of glass. The sizes of the offices are adapted to the needs of the employees.

Although BGM measures were only initiated in 2019 by Managing Director Lothar Leuchter, a lot has already been done for the health and well-being of the employees. Receiving the award once again proves that health promotion is not an empty phrase here but a company philosophy that is put into practice every day.

Health management: The crisis as an opportunity

Given the pandemic, it is clear that an increased focus on the topic of health management in companies is the right way to promote the well-being and performance of employees. Current developments in this area are reflected in the annual trend study "Corporate Health Management in Germany" by EUPD Research. This also includes the results of this year's 354 applicants from 17 different sectors.

The Corporate Healt Award: A significant distinction

Winners of the Corporate Health Award not only hold a glass trophy, a certificate, and a winner's brochure in their hands. They carry one of the most prestigious and renowned seals in Germany. The award stands for excellent corporate health management, which is particularly important in times of home offices, limited social contacts, and the threat of overwork for employees. The award is based on high-quality standards that serve as a yardstick for the sustainable promotion of health in German companies. The aim is to create greater awareness for the long-term improvement of employee satisfaction and performance. Due to the current Corona situation and given the health of the participants, this year's award and prize-giving ceremony was cancelled on site.
