The BTGA-Bundesindustrieverband Technische Gebäudeausrüstung e.V. (Federal Association of the Building Services Industry) launched its "Electrical Engineering" specialist area in mid-September 2021.
The "Electrical Engineering" department creates a new platform for the member companies of the BTGA organisation that are active in the field of electrical system construction.
This takes into account the growing importance of the field of electrical engineering in building services engineering.

The chairman of the new department is Roland Fischer, managing director of Elevion GmbH.
Filippo Salvia, founder and managing director of Salvia Building Technologies, was elected as his deputy. Salvia Building Technologies is a medium-sized and owner-managed full-service provider in building technology with the areas of engineering, electrical engineering, I&C, HVAC, and service and maintenance. "The origin and core of our company lie in electrical engineering. The cooperation of the trades in the building sector is becoming increasingly important, and the electrical and mechanical trades are growing together more and more. That's why the work in the BTGA is so important to me," says Filippo Salvia.

Salvia Building Technologies is one of the few independent medium-sized full-service providers in the field of technical building equipment in Germany and is available to its customers regionally at 21 locations. With over 1,300 employees, projects of all sizes are realised. The company covers the entire technical life cycle of building services engineering, from the initial feasibility studies through the entire planning phases and execution to the operation of buildings and sites.
