Eislingen/Fils, May 13, 2026 – On April 28, 2026, Salvia Building Technology signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the Hand & Werk Group. The transaction is still subject to approval by the German antitrust authorities; closing is expected in the coming weeks.
The Hand & Werk Group, together with MJS Airklima GmbH & Co. KG, has been active in data center construction for several years under the dcblue Datacenter Experts brand. Through this collaboration, numerous demanding projects in the data center environment, particularly in the Rhine-Main region, have been successfully completed.
As part of the transaction, MJS Airklima GmbH & Co. KG will be integrated into the Hand & Werk Group. At the same time, the existing holding structure will in future operate under dcblue GmbH. This will create a unified market presence for the joint activities in data center construction.
With around 200 employees, the group generated total output of approximately EUR 85 million in 2025. The existing organizational structure and management team will remain unchanged.
“With Hand & Werk, we are gaining an experienced and highly specialized partner in the data center sector. Together with Salvia Building Technology, dcblue will be positioned even more strongly in the future to support complex projects in the field of digital infrastructure in a holistic manner,” says Filippo Salvia, founder and CEO of the Salvia Group.
“dcblue brings strong technical expertise and a distinct entrepreneurial culture. It is precisely this independence and specialization that we intend to further develop together within Salvia Building Technology,” adds Dirk Jannausch, Managing Director of Salvia Building Technology.
