Eislingen/Borken, October 9 2020 2020

The Salvia Group from Eislingen/Fils has taken over the core business of the Rehms Building Group: The business operations of Rehms Building Technology, J. Rehms GmbH, and the planning office TePmA GmbH, as well as the shares of Rehms Service GmbH, were acquired. In addition, the shareholding in DL Technik GmbH, based in Essen, is also to be acquired in the short term.

Dirk Jannausch, Managing Director of Salvia Group GmbH, comments after the completion of the purchase agreements: "Together with our new colleagues, we will be able to cover the entire life cycle in building technology with immediate effect.” The previous management will continue the operations of Rehms Building Technology and J. Rehms GmbH in the future as J. Rehms Gebäudetechnik GmbH. The ongoing business of TePmA was taken over by TePmA Engineering GmbH and will also be continued by the previous management.

“For me, as an entrepreneur, this is a logical step towards even more customer orientation and the strengthening of our regional presence in North Rhine-Westphalia," says owner and company founder Filippo Salvia.

Nils Meißner adds: “Operationally, the core business of Rehms Building Technology was and is well-positioned.” Meißner has been supporting the Rehms Group as Chief Insolvency Officer (CIO) together with Dr. Mike Westkamp (CIO) from the law firm GÖRG since the insolvency filings in recent months. "It is one of the reasons why we were able to secure the jobs of around 550 employees at the Borken and Essen sites in self-administration within three months."
